Advanced Heat Treat Site Tour (Rescheduled)

Join Joel Robinson onsite at Advanced Heat Treat in Waterloo as he provides a close look at the nitride heat treating process and the company’s own safety measures.

Advanced Heat Treat Corp. (AHT) is a recognized leader in providing heat treat services and superior metallurgical solutions to companies across the globe. “While we always have the philosophy that we can be better in all aspects of our business, we are excited to show the ASSP NE Iowa Chapter some of the safety initiatives we have in place, unique challenges we face, and our first steps into automation to elevate some safety concerns.”

Here are some additional details to be aware of for the tour, be prepared!

•  Visitor should park in the main office parking lot and enter through the front doors to the main office. The facility address is:

  •    AHT is an ITAR facility so all guests will be required to show their driver’s license during check in.
  •    Currently masking is optional due to our high vaccination rate within the facility but these requirements are subject to change if OSHA regulations dictate a change is needed.
  •    No other PPE is required for the tour.

Attendees should arrive promptly for an 11:30 am tour and can expect the tour to last between 45 – 60 minutes.
